Edgard Corona: The Man With A Thousand Faces

Edgard Corona is a man with many faces. Edgard was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved to the United States when he was 12 years old. Edgard has been dancing since the age of 3 and had his first break in Hollywood at the age of 17 when he performed on “The Tonight Show.” Edgard’s latest project SmartFit is a fitness company that combines technology with cardio workouts.

With a passion for dance, Edgard has worked with many of the most talented dancers in the industry. He is a classically trained ballroom dancer and currently being represented by Biggest Loser Models.

Edgard Corona besides SmartFit also founded Bio Ritmo , a Latin-influenced dance company which focuses on promoting healthy lifestyles through dance and inspires people to live better and healthier lives.

Edgard has been involved in Latin dance for over 25 years and is a 5 time World Bachata Champion, 2 time U.S Salsa Open Champion, and also shared the stage with Michael Jackson, Beyonce’, Jay Z, Will Smith and many other stars in his younger days. Go Here for related Information.

Beyond the sparkling lights of Hollywood, Edgard is involved in several other organizations like World Vision. He reached out to World Vision because of his passion for children and education. Edgard also donates his time for charitable events such as Starlight Children’s Foundation, Fashion Delivers, The Aids Project Los Angeles, Dance Aid USA and more.

Edgard Corona is constantly traveling due to his busy schedule but when he’s not performing or working on film projects you can find him at home in California with his two dogs Mancu and Herbie. Edgard loves to cook for friends and family with his specialty being Colombian food.

Edgard loves to dance, but he also loves the challenge of motor racing and in 2009 raced for the first time at Road Atlanta in a Lotus Cup Race Car. Edgard has 3 children named Isabella (19), Giana (12) and Sofia (9). He lives with his wife Michelle Corona in Miami, Florida.
